Who we are
SEO Dons Ltd operates this website (commercialsolarev.co.uk). For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller. You can contact us at privacy@seodons.co.uk or by post at 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ.
What information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone, postcode, and details about your premises when you complete a quote or contact form.
- Automatic information: we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this.
- Cookies: Google Analytics sets analytics cookies (for example
_ga). We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the desk feasibility you asked for.
- To follow up if your initial enquiry doesn't progress immediately.
- To improve our services (aggregated analytics only).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Lawful basis for processing
We rely on (a) legitimate interests when responding to your enquiry, and (b) consent when you opt in to ongoing communication. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep your data
Enquiries are retained for 24 months, after which we delete or anonymise them. If a project goes ahead with an installer or specialist we have introduced, that business holds its own records under its own privacy notice.
Who we share your data with
- Form submissions are processed by Formspree (USA) under their privacy policy.
- Analytics data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.
- Where your enquiry needs an installer or specialist to respond, we may share the details you submitted with them for that purpose only.
- We do not add you to marketing lists.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict processing, port it, and object to processing. Contact privacy@seodons.co.uk to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
We apply industry-standard security measures: TLS for all data in transit, encrypted at rest where applicable, restricted access to authorised personnel only.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers directly.
